About Pursuit of Beauty Media

In 2013 my little friends of a younger generation opened an Instagram account for me. It was a defining moment when I had to choose an account name for all the world to see. The resonating theme that came to mind was "In Pursuit of Beauty". That was a significant part of how I saw myself and my life unfolding so far, and it would continue in the years ahead.

In 2018 I moved back to my home state of Michigan, ready to register a photography business and chose the same name: Pursuit of Beauty Photography. I didn't realize that the DBA expired three years later, but as it turned out, it would be almost seven years later when I was back at the country clerk ready to register a DBA for my launching book. At this point, the same umbrella name and world view still applied, and Pursuit of Beauty Media was born.

Whether it's posting content for the world, taking photographs, or writing a book for women, I am deeply drawn to find and share the beauty I find in life. I hope you enjoy this new expression of the journey.
